A Day In The Life - 10/14/2011: Homemade Gumbo

Unfortunately, Drew has had the pleasure of working all day during our visits but he makes up for it when he gets home. At the little shop a few days back where they had the Gator on the menu, they also had mounds, even piles, of fresh gulf shrimp - the good stuff. and these things were nearly crayfish size.
So we bought a few ponds of those shrimpy critters along with a package of spices, potatoes (is this a Quail thing?) corn on the cob, etc. Yum! That was good. I definitely ate as much shrimp as I could stand and a little more. And I love shrimp.
